burning project from Movie Studio

When you create a project in Movie Studio 10 for burning to blue ray and open in DVD Architect Studio to add menu to it, is the project retained with the same audio of 5.1 if it was created in 5.1 surround? I am asking this because the options for a new project in DVD Architect Studio only allow the Project Audio format as PCM Stereo.

One of the limitations of the Studio version of DVDA is for Blu-ray disks only stereo PCM sound is supported. Conventional DVDs 5.1 channel AC-3 audio is also supported.

Point of clarification: Movie Studio projects do not open in DVD Architect -- compliant files rendered in Movie Studio are what you import.

<"compliant files rendered in Movie Studio are what you import">
What are considered the "compliant" files for DVDA?

I successfully rendered a 6 min portion of my mega-project in VMS 9.0b - I had to use the "render as" option, because it WON'T render when I use "Make Movie" for some reason. (?)
I "rendered as": Main concept MPEG-2, BR 1920X1080
Then separately rendered the audio as: Dolby Digital AC-3, 5.1 surround DVD.
Saved both audio and video files in the same folder
_ Went to DVDA.....I see only the audio file in that folder, NOT the video file
WHY?
