burning VCD

hi all
i render a clip as vcd mpeg, when i burn a vcd from this 680mb clip and it showed a error message 'check render setting or insert a larger blank cd', something like that. but i do have a 700mb blank cd in the rewriter. do i have to change some of the setting to make it work? i use vegas3. i can use neroburner to burn this clip without problem.

There is some overhead for the file structure. Different burning software appears to need different amounts. You might try using Nero. I just checked a couple VCD's and I noticed a strange thing. Explorer will show the contents of the CD to be, say 297MB, checking the size of the .dat file always is larger. In this case 339MB. Seems contrary.

sorry. forgot to menton, when i burn vcd in vegas, i first render as a test vcd mpeg file which is 690mb size.
