burning with DVD Architect

H e l p !
I am using Vegas 4 Movie Studio+DVD.
Is this the right forum?

I have composed a 42 min video mpg , rendered it as an mpeg2 file, and stored it to the hard drive.
Now I want to burn it to DVD. How do I get from Movie Studio to the DVD Architect!

I had rendered the same film yesterday, but selected "Burn to DVD" which brings up the DVD Architect. However, my video came out without audio sound. That's why I tried today the other option "Save on Disk".

Sony Vegas 4 looks so easy - but I have many difficulties.
Can someone help?
Thank you
Ruthi

I don't have Studio+DVD (I have its big brother), but from what I've read, it defaults to saving the audio as a separate WAV file for the audio. Be sure that it did and make sure you bring that file into DVDA Studio.

Download and install the latest VMS update - this has been discussed a couple of times on the MS Forum and it's a bug in VMS.

Scott, thank you for your response. I have not been on the forum for long and did not wade through the many earlier discussions. Was I on the right program forum at least?
I will do as you suggested.
I also tried another suggestion you gave to another questioner earlier, and downloaded the CopyToDVD program, the free 30 days special. I could burn my film to a DVD successfully, but the DVD would not play on the DVD player, only on the computer. At least, one step into the right direction....
Thank you again.

Rob, thank you for your reply.
On my hard drive I see a seperate .wav file for my film.
I had rendered and burnt a video earlier successfully with full audio. I must have done something wrong on the way this time.

Thank you

Ruthi, no, this is NOT the correct forum. You need to be using this one which is dedicated to Movie Studio: http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/forums/ShowTopics.asp?ForumID=12
