Burning with Nero

Hi all.
I think I have the most simple question for you. I prepared the DVD-files and got the audio_ts (empty) and video_ts folders on the HDD. Now I'm sending them up to a friends FTP and he wants to burn a DVD-videodisc using Nero. Question: Should he just put the two folders in the root of the disk, or should the two be inside another folder with the project name? Anything else to think about using Nero? Can you tell I've never done this before? :)

That's all you need to do.

Nero actually has a template called "DVD Video Disc" that will create the empty AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders; then you just drag your IFO, BUP, and VOB files into VIDEO_TS.

If there's room on the disc, you can also add data in any number of other folders without harming the disc's ability to play back in set-top video players. Unlike the CD spec, the DVD-ROM and DVD-Video file system is pretty straightforward.

Twice, using DVD-Architect files, Nero has yelled back that the files were not "powers of 2" or something and refused to make the disc. However, I just started a "New | DVD-ROM" disc, created the folders anyway, and burned it as a DVD-ROM disc, and it still played perfectly in my set-top players.

I think all that the "DVD-Video" template does differently is pre-create those folders for you.
