Burning with Nero

Could anyone give me a quick set of detailed instructions on how to burn my DVDA project using Nero. There are so many options to choose from in Nero that I want to skip the "trial and error" part and just get to it.....................
In Nero 6.6 which program do you use (there are 12)?
Which files from my DVDA prep folder do I use?

Use 'Nero Burning Rom'

Go to 'File' and 'New' The new compilation window appears
Choose 'DVD' and 'DVD-Video" after that hit the 'new' button.
In the explorer select the Video_ts folder from your DVDAprepare folder
Select all files from the video_ts and drag them over to the video_ts folder of your new compilation.

Use a rewritable the first time so you don't have to be afraid to make a mistake - good luck with burning!

Thank you. I am now able to burn my DVD's, whereas I was getting errors when trying to burn through DVDA. All my equipment is new, so I couldn't understand why things weren't recording properly. I found that using Nero Express was easier than Nero Burning ROM. I hope they fix the problem with DVDA, because I wasted a lot of discs trying to make it record.

That was one of the reasons for DVD-RW however, these are not the best for testing final adjustments as they are actually more difficult to bunn believe it or not due to the erasable layer. If you use and DVD-RW's in the future, you should burn them at not more than 2X.

I have used Nero Express as well for a quick burn for some stuff that is relatively not critical but I would exercise caution when using Nero to burn really important archive material and by all means seek the opinions of the many talented folks who make this forum one of the very best. There are many very bright contribuotrs here from whom I have learned much!

One advantage of preparing to the Video_TS file structure is that a software player such as PowerDVD can be used to check the work before you burn to disc. If you need to make adjustments then the smart prepare feature is very useful. If it all looks ok, then burn the files to disc as described by rsp above.
