I've searched for a while for this but couldent find any relevent information. Is there a way to make a button activate only by highlighting it? an example i could give are scenes selection menu in profesional dvds, you start on the ¨back to main menu¨ button and have a previous and next page button on each side, when you press right or left the previous or next button highlight and automaticaly switch to the other page without having to press enter. Thank you in advance.

The feature you're looking for is called auto-activation. DVD Architect doesn't offer it.

aka "on navigation" - technically more correct than auto-activation, since DVDA does support a form of auto-activation via the menu timeout.

But as pointed out by bStro at here, its trivial to add later via MenuEdit.

Which is so odd, because its clearly a simple boolean flag on a button. Why DVDA doesn't provide it I don't know.

It works like this: engineering and product management come up with a list of new features to add to the product for the next release. Presumably the input provided from product management is based on feedback from customers, but frequently engineering has a better idea of what's needed since they monitor forums like this.

Anyway, the list is prioritized, engineering then works up an estimate of how much effort is involved for each feature, and this may also affect the priority. Then, because there's a calendar which says the new release must be ready for beta testing by x-date, there's a line drawn on the list at the point for what things can be accomplished.

I've no doubt that "on navigation" was probably on the list, it just ended up falling below the line for the 2.0 release.
