Button fade-in or other transition-in type?

I know how to make menu buttons delay appearing on a menu until the loop point. But at the loop point, they just pop in, which doesn't fit the effect I'm looking for.

Is there any way to make the button fade in, move in from the sides, scale up from zero, or otherwise transition in a little slower?

Thanks.

Yes and no.

The button mask will always appear right at the loop point - you can't change that. However if you create your buttons in Vegas, then you can have them do whatever you want in terms of fading in, hopping in, gliding in, or whatever.

What I'll do is get everything laid out in DVDA and then in preview mode I'll take a snapshot of the menu to use as a base for building things up in Vegas.

If you're using DVD Architect 4, look up "Keframes and transformations" in the online help or manual. I've only got DVDA3, so I can't be much more help than that.

That said, I also would more likely opt for creating such animations in Vegas -- it's a lot more robust and flexible.
