Button Fades - Must be doing something wrong

Hi

I have followed the instrucions in the Help file regarding fading a menu button in.

But when I set the second keyfram to opaque then the first resets to opaque. If I then set the first back to transparent then the 2nd get reset to transparent.

I have followed the instructions several times to the letter with the same result. Is there something else I am overlooking or is this a bug?

P.S. It seems, once I do get it working, that I'd only be able to fade buttons and not text. Is that right?

Problem solved re: the fading.

I was using the Crop keyframes and not the Video Effects keyframes...oooops!

But what about the text. Is there a way to fade it?
