Button highlights suddenly not working on one menu

Hey guys,

Hope this is a simple problem. It seems that on my third menu the button highlights don't work at all. All the properties appear to be the same as on previous menus.

Stranger still, the Preview function within DVDA shows them just fine... but on my PS3, the first two menus display button highlights properly while the third shows none at all. Heh!

Any ideas on how to quickly rectify the problem?

When you say your button highlights "don't work", I assume you mean that these highlights/overlays don't appear over the buttons when you navigate your DVD menu, right?

Well, assuming you haven't applied some custom Overlay Pattern, it could be something as simple as your Color Sets.

Check your Color Set for one of the problematic buttons. What is your Fill color?

Try a different color. (White, in particular, can be a problem sometimes.) Also make sure this Fill color (which is, essentially, the color of your button highlight/overlay) is different enough from your menu background that it shows up.

Steve,

Thanks for the help. The entire project is set for yellow menu highlights. But the weirdest thing is, they appear just fine in the DVDA preview. It's only after the disc is mastered and burned that they're mysteriously missing.

I am having similar issues with chapters; I'm not able to seek chapters at all, oddly enough, even though they exist (and there are LOTS of them).

It's a Blu-ray; I'm not sure if this makes a difference.
