Button Properties

I would like to create the default Menu button with a "timed" auto play. The only properties I see for this are Button Properties - Action - Auto activate - Yes or No.

Is it possible to have the DVD start after an interval of time if the user does not press the Select or Enter button on the remote?

Yes, you can do this in DVDA - but it must be a custom script written for the main menu action of the DVD. You would do this by entering the correct program command sequence in the DVD script.

I do not know the exact commands and you would have to contact a programming specialist familiar with the context of DVD script language. SCS offers no help in this regard. I have heard of some competent programmers on-line and likely to be conversant in foreign languages such as Russian or French...but worth a look perhaps.

Also you need the Pro version for scripting.

I believe you can do this

For End Action of menu, select Activate Button. No scripting needed.

You can set duration and such here.

Let me know if that works for you.
