Buttons

I'm unable to do this in DVD Workshop and wanted to know itf possible in DVD Architect.I want to create a button and have it be transparent until "selected", this is not a problem.

The problem is that I want to be able to to this with a button or picture that has more than one color, but when it is highlighted I only solid color. For instance if I use the birthday cake button, make it transparent and have the button state set to white. I only get a solid white birthday cake, no other colors appear.

Another way to think of it is like a "easter egg", when you highlight the area it appears, with all of the colors of the picture of the item.

Sorry, in this version we only support one color masks.

In fact, in the DVD spec, you can only have 4 color hilights. If you count the highlight color as one, the transparency as your second, you only have two left over. We use these two extra colors to create an antialiased effect on masks by using different levels of transparency.

Thanks

Another way to create an easter egg would be to create a button offscreen. Harder to find... :-)

Thanks for the reply. After more research I did find information about the "four colors". Guess I was trying to jump the gun on that one.
