I was wondering if anyone can help a new DVDA user. I would like to get my buttons to animate and/or play audio when the cursor rolls over them (without linking through to media or another page). Any ideas on the best way to go about this?
There are no programs that can do it because for SD-DVD this is not possible.
The workaround is to do something like "Switched Menus" -- where going to a button will auto-activate to send you to another menu (that has the sound or animation you want). These types of menus can have a slight "delay" during the menu change.
The other technique is "Inverse Selection" -- but that requires planning for certain solid background colors where the buttons are. I think if you search this forum, you can find explanations and/or samples for both of these techniques (regarding the button animation). The button SOUND does not work with Inverse Selection.
