Buttons from PS layers

Anyone having luck following the specified layer naming conventions for bringing buttons of various states in automatically?
Is there a trick to this?

The trick that most people miss is going to Insert and choosing "Submenu from File" and navigating to the PSD file. So long as your layers are named properly, that should set everything up for you.
