Buying a DVD burner

Have been using VF for a year or so and would like to start production on DVD - would appreciate advise on which, what and where to buy.

I've been using a HP200i for about the last six months and I've been pleased with it.
In todays market, I think I'd have to take a hard look at the Sony 500U as it says it will support both (-) and (+) formats.

I have the Sony DRX 500U, it seems very good so far....Need to get render / burn issues fixed though. It is versatile. the_ripper

PS they are pretty hard to find, they are out of stock in a lot of places.
