Camcorder to Computer back to Camcorder's HD

Can anyone help with getting my edited copy (movie) back to my camcorder's HD (Sony SR5) so that I can show it in high def and 5.1 sound on my 42" plasma TV? I don't want to use DVD's... I just want to hook my Camcorder to the AV system.

I don't think that Vegas movie studio can export AVCHD-formatted files, although I could be wrong. It can export HDV back to tape, but I don't think it can do the same for AVCHD cameras...
