anyone have links to DIY details for an exterior camera lock down to shoot drivers through front and side wind shield, I have a Pd150, and considering a jury rig setup.

Not quite DIY, but it's relatively inexpensive, and you might figure something out.

I've used the sticky pod and it works pretty good.

Just make sure to use lots of extra safety lines. I don't trust my cameras to anything. Never came off, but safety is key.

Check out http://dvcamerarigs.com/killercontents.html, and look at the "They Drive By Night Car Mount". There's a QuickTime movie showing it in action. I bought the book from the site and it's very good - explains how to build a lot of cool camera mounts.
