Camera iris transition effect

I'm looking for a Vegas transition that would look like the closing and opening of a still camera's iris. I'll add a still camera "click" sound to simulate taking a still shot. I have such a thing in my VT[4] system. But now that I'm using Vegas for HDV editing, I'd like one in Vegas. Any suggestions?

Here's a quickie -
Butt the two clips, no overlap.
Drag the top corners to create Fade Out for 1 and Fade in for 2.
Drop Iris transition onto both.
Set the first to Circle / Iris In
Set the second to Circle Iris out.
Adjust time to suit sound effect.

Tried out your suggestion last night with a 6 -rame fade on each clip. It looks good. Added a camera click from Sony sound effects sampler.

Having visible ribs of a camera shutter would have been ideal, but this gets me close enough to what I wanted.

Thanks for the help.

Try this: http://www.vegasusers.com/images/shutterblades.gif

Place this image on a track underneath the clips, spanning the duration of the two fades.
