Can a Vegas clip be saved as independent jpeg?

I have had problems editing a jpeg in my image editing software (Psp Photo X2). Whatever twitches I make the colours do not come out as I want. I found that when I put the photo into Vegas and used the FX option I could edit the picture with the colours that I prefer. This edited image exists in Vegas only, of course - none of the editing affects my original picture, Is it possible to save the image as a jpeg that I can use outside of Vegas?

Yes. Set the preview to Best/Full, then click the little floppy disk icon above the preview window. It will probably work better if you have your project set to progressive rather than interlaced, and the frame size set to match your still image size.
