Can AVISynth be used?

I just discovered it and know it can be imported into certain programs for editing. Is this one of them? I still have Vegas Studio 8 by the way, so maybe it ended up working with a future version.

You can "serve" avisynth streams inside vegas via an addon, but it's super slow. Not recommended.

AviSynth isn't used inside Vegas. However, the Vegas timeline can be "frame served" (exported) externally to AviSynth via its own command line or script.

Why don't you try the Debugmode Frameserver with Vegas Movie Studio and see if it works?
