Can DVDA burn CD

Forum Members,

My friend's dad is planning to buy Vegas and DVDA on my advise. He only has a CD writer and his not planning of getting a DVD writer yet. My question is:

Can DVDA create a SVCD or VCD?

I played with the demo last night and change the capacity on the option menu. I was able to change the capacity to 0.7GB (for 700MB) but I'm not sure it will work (the demo does not allow me to burn the CD).

No. But Vegas can create a VCD. (NO menus)

Thanks for your answer. That's kind of bummer, I can see DVDA can create great menus, and probably great DVD.
I will inform my friend's dad and he will probably have to invest in a DVD burner in top of the Firewire card and a new HardDrive he already have to buy to be able to use Vegas 4.0; start to be costly to do video editing ;-)
