Can DVDA do this?

Can DVDA author a cd with mpeg-1 video? My goal is to make a simple interactive cd that will play mpeg-1 videos on a computer.

Any help is appreciated.

DVD-A can't, but other popular DVD Authoring applications can. It is kind of curious that DVD-A can't do CD's. Anyhow if what you mean by interactive is having a similar menu system, products like Ulead's DVD Movie Maker may be what you're looking for.
