So I just upgraded my movie studio to Vegas Pro Suite and I was looking at DVD Architect and was thinking of trying to burn a blue ray disk with it. The thing is when I built my computer I don’t remember what kind of optical drive I got. If I look in explorer it says my optical drive is a BD-RE Drive. So could I burn a blue ray disk with this and if so when I go to get some blue ray disk to burn what kind do I need to buy? Thanks for help in advance

Yes, DVD Architect can burn BluRays. Verbatim is a brand I have used. Avoid LTH discs unless you know your burner can handle them, can't remember what but the technology is slightly different and not all drives can burn them. To be safe I usually burn at a slower speed than the disc/drive are rated. As with DVDs there are rewritable discs (expensive) but at times useful to have one around for a test burn before burning the real one
