Until I'm able to get myself a Pioneer AO4 DVD burner for storing my digital camcorder videos on, can I store the videos themselves on my harddrive (80 gig) and free up space on my camcorder tapes? I am concerned about losing any quality in the transfer to my harddrive from the digital tapes. Earlier I had thought that I was losing quality because when I would try to play back the stored video onto my monitor the quality was bad. Someone mentioned that the video just looked bad because the monitor was too slow. They said that the stored video itself was still 100%. Is that accurate? I'd like to free up tape space but not at the expense of ruining my irreplacible videos. Thanks, again.
Can I do this
