Can I make Belle Dephine fan video like this in vegas?

This fan video was made with phone app called Video Star. It looks very professional and stylish. Can the cheap vegas 15 edit do this or too hard?

With video star you use many presets together you don't have to full edit everything. It is instagram video but I want to make for Youtube

No. Not too hard for Vegas. Vegas has all the tools (and much more) needed for something like this. But knowing how to use those tools is another matter.

If you are looking for some sort of template or preset that makes videos like this in cookie cutter fashion, Vegas is likely not for that.

thankyou for your kind reply. I wanted to try with the swishing around the pictures for the slideshow part. It looks like the app uses motion blur. I googled vegas and motion blur. it talks about video bus. It is ticked, but i can not see video bus and i can't see motion blur controls.

Is there a trick to this?

Yes, so it's not super intuitive, you have to right click on the track space then select to show blur amount. A line will appear. this line is how much blur will be applied you can click on it to create points. You would want to create points before and after where you want motion blur then raise the line between those points. You don't want it active all the time because it will make everything look splotchy.

Thankyou 😀

Could you suggest how easiest to do all the transitions using vegas between the picture slideshow. All the spinning, zooming, and whooshing. Would I have to do that manually with video event pan crop or does vegas automate process. The pictures mesh together very smoothly but i can't quite see how it does that. Does it just fade between pictures?

I bought vegas edit last year when very cheap but never really used it.

You can do all those effects in Pan and Crop, and just add Gaussian blur between them. It shouldn't take that long. Also, you could do some of them using the built-in transitions under the Transitions tab and just experiment. Most of the effects are self-explanatory. I would start by just dragging 3-4 clips to the timeline, then using some of the built-in transitions like Gradient Wipe, Left to Right, Right to Left, Bottom to Top, etc. and just build out from there. If you want to speed everything up, just click on the end of the clip, Press ALT and Time Stretch it.

This is a good video to get you started.

I played the video without sound, then I played it with sound. It uses sound effects and music sync to help make your brain process the transitions as being smooth. The ending where the screen goes black is especially interesting. without sound, it just goes black, with sound, it sort of feels like you just got punched & is more 'powerful'

You will find apps like the one you are using and tiktok use these sound effects to match video effects all the time with transitions and does seem effective.
