Can I make scene selection highlighting not so white

The scene selection highlighting has such a bright white haze in many cases, i cannot see the underlying video image. Any suggestions as to a way to the higlighting feature less opaque?

I just made a DVDA and left both thumbnails on the screen. Than I renamed them, selected Text only, so I ended up with "Play DVD" and "Select Chapters" at the bottom,and put my own Title on the screen(Our Wedding) with an appropiate wedding background. So they get the choice of playing the DVD right away without going into the chapter menu, or they can go there by highlighting the "Select Chapters" button.

Just trying things different...........

Yes you can!

Select the button object and then select the object tab to display its properties on the right side of the screen. Next to where you select the "Highlight Style" is a little checkerboard. Click it to open a palette where you set the highlight color and opacity. Find the checkerboard in the palette and drag the little indicater down to decrease the opacity. You might also want to select a darker color. Now preview the menu to see the results.
