Can I Open Projects From Beta In the Full Version!!!!!!?????

I would really like to know if i can open my projects from
the BETA version in the full version as i am stuck with
about 11-12 unfinished projects .If that can´t be done what
i could possibly do is save all the Soundfiles with"Save
All Media" into a folder and then start all my projects
again(BUMMER).
But the fact that i cant "Save With Media" makes that
solution out of the question ,wich by the way makes it
virtually impossible to back up any of the projects i´m
working on.

Or i can render out each track wich BTW will amount to 1.5
gig at least with every project(and i can´t open them again)
beacuse of the sheer size of the project.

I want to get the full version and I probably will advise
my company to buy it,but right now this is giving me major
headaches and I really need this matter resolved!

Please respond quickly as i only have until the 1´st of
july.

Hi There -
I beta-tested for quite some time and had no problem opening previous
older files after installing the retail version. You just have to be
careful of the DirectX plugins - if you use XFX 1 2 or 3, you need to
be careful about getting those to properly "transfer" into the new
ones. I'm sure an SF employee could better answer this and with more
definitiveness...

good luck.

You can open beta projects in the full version. Because of
functionality changes, some projects made with early betas will not
import perfectly, but most of the info will carry across. In any
case, SF tech support can help you (or hook you up with engineering)
so that your beta-to-final project transfers are successful.

By the way, Charles, we are doing away with all the "new XFX"
silliness and going back to the original IDs for the next update.
Should ease the pain for all but the earliest adopters as far as
presets and whatnot.

Jason.
