When I use the "Vegas Video" to edit my DV video !
But when I finish to edit it and render as the DV Avi file !
Than open to another program to return to DV !
But I can`t do it !
Because that program display the DV file is type 2 !
can not return to DV(it`s must type 1 can do that)
so I must render again to typt 1 !
Can I save the DV file as "type 1" from "VEGAS VIDEO" ?
or another good idea ?

thankxxxx

When choosing rendering, choose the DV template but click
CUSTOM, then click the VIDEO tab, *untick* the box "Create
Open DML Type 2 AVI"

what program are you using to print to tape ?

i go from DV NTSC to vegas capture ... i edit the clip ...
i render out using the DV template... i then print that
file to tape using vegas capture without any problems ( dv
camera or deck )

... have you tried printing to TAPE using vegas capture ?
