If I decided to sell my copy of VMS 9 and 10, how would that work, can the buyer still be able to activate it? I might end up selling once I finish all my DVD projects (110 GB worth). It won't be anytime soon but I guess I wouldn't be needing it anymore after I'm done with the work.
You should be able to raise a support ticket - there's an option under 'Activation' called 'Licence Transfer'. Tell SCS which serial you want to transfer and give them the details of the new owner, and they'll do the necessary so that the new owner can activate the software.
Be aware that if you used v9 to upgrade to v10, the new owner of v9 won't be able to use it to upgrade.
Not really, I hate to see it go to waste if I'm not going to utilize it, plus, this gives me all the good reasons to pick up the next new version of Vegas Movie Studio.
