Can I use One Big Clip and Make multiple Scenes out of it?

I have a 2 hour rock concert encoded thru Vegas as an MPEG2. I want to pick in and out points for each song and and have each song on a song selection menu. I want the DVD user to select the song they want then after the song plays I want it to go back to that menu. Can I do this with one big clip or do I have to break it down into multiple clips? And how do I do it? Newbie help please...explain steps....thanks.

You might want to start by reading the manual - it's got a lot of information in it.

Basically with one big clip what you'll need to do is bring the clip into DVDA2 multiple times (once for each sub-clip that you want) and then set in/out points at the appropriate locations. DVDA2 is smart enough not to put multiple copies of the movie on the DVD.

With DVDA1 you'd be much better rednering each individual clip.

Another quick thing - 2 hours of video will not fit on a DVD if you rendered from Vegas using the default bitrate of 6,000. You'll need to re-render and drop the bit rate down to around 4,800 - and you may need to go even a little lower depending on what you do for menus.
