Can it be done in VV5

I'm sure you guys have seen the HP commercial where the person is jumping on a trampoline in the background while the lady in the foreground is holding blank photos up and "catching" a photo from the sky.

Just wondering if that type effect can be done in VV5. I'm just learning the system. This forum is an absolute wealth of knowledge.

Thanks,

With a WHOLE lot of keyframing, I would imagine it can be done. There is a discussion here somewhere about the spots for iPod. In that thread is a couple links to that spot as well as your HP spot being done in Combustion, I believe. I think you're looking for Corner Pin Tracking or something similar. But do a search for HP or ipod here and you'll see a couple methods.

depending on how complicated the shot, you can do it fairly easy with bezier masking and keyframes .
heres a quick example I just did in about 10 min, the keyframes arent perfect and pardon the bed-head hair doo.

Thanks for the demo....very nice! I'm playing around now seeing if I can duplicate that. Right now I'm having a little difficulty but I'm new to VV so I'll get there eventually.... How many tracks did that require?

Thanks again,

how did you do that? did you have three tracks of video? (two for the pics, one for the main clip) and then pause each clip for the "snapshot"?

thats fun to see examples!
