VMS doesn't read Pro projects. However, if I recall correctly, Pro reads VMS project files. If that is the case, you might be able to download a free trial of Pro. Some possible workarounds (be forewarned that I have no idea if they will work!):

  1. See if the Pro trial can save the file in .vf format
  2. Open up Pro and VMS at the same time (2 separate windows), select all in Pro, click Copy and paste it into your copy of VMS. That works for 2x VMS windows.
  3. Render your project in Vegas and use the rendered file in VMS
  4. Try Movie Studio / Vegas Pro Version Faker” (MSVPVF)
  5. Try this hack
