can not install

Used trial Studio 9 in December of 2008, bought program from Sony same month and still can not got it installed. My machine has more than enough power/capacity (XP Pro) to handle it . Have tried several times to install. Sony sent authorization number but that is no help as problem is when installing from CD it does not ask for anything ( serial number etc) else but just does install -places Studio 9 icon on desk top but only opens screen for trial version having expired and how to buy . Sony has not really answered the problem and kind of danced around issue too suggesting different steps which have not worked. Have used other editors with no problem. Any ideal’s/help appreciated

I seem to recall others saying that if you click the option for "register over the phone" or something like that, you'll then get a spot to enter the serial number & activation key.

78 year old man appreciates and sends his thanx- problem solved -makes one wonder what is up with Sony and why they couldn’t/wouldn’t comprehend the issue havening such a simple solution

Only 45 here, but i wouldn't have figured that out on my own. I just saw some other folks give the same answer ... many times over the last few years.
