Can someone show me the error of my ways? :-)

I'm not sure what I did, but I can no longer edit the effects in anything in the video track by clicking the FX square on the pic/clip, nor can I edit by going through the toolbar. Can someone please explain what I need to do to fix this problem? Sure appreciate any help.

Yes I did, thanks. The good folk at SF thought the FX DLL had become corrupt, and suggested I dump the whole business and start over. By some good luck I had kept the c patch and was able to reinstall without having to DL ...all OK now.
