Can SVMS burn to Blueray?

I just bought a Canon HV20 and want to burn my movie in HD. I am thinking about buying a Blueray burner for about $400 off Newegg but wasnt sure if Sony Vegas Movie Studio will render in Blue Ray??? Or is it more of DVDA that does it?? Can someone set me straight on this.

No, it can't. You can use this instead though:

The above requires only a BD player, not a burner. It will save you $400.
