Vegas Pro 10 Review

However, testing the latest Vegas Pro 10 did not work out entirely flawlessly, because at one point we were unable to insert audio envelopes in the track. The option was enabled, but we just did not see the keyframe line (we did not experience this in version 9); but after a computer shutdown everything came back to normal. Also, crashing of the video capture utility after the clip was stored occurred in both version 9 and 10 of the application.

Hope that helps.

Still confused... I turned the computer off and restarted and still can't add an envelope.

I uninstalled the Vegas Pro 10d and restarted the computer , then installed again and this time I ask for the disk version (build 363) not the newer version( build 669). Still can't add audio envelopes with either Verion of 10.

I am running an Intel E6300 cpu 2.80 Ghz, 2 gb ram Pentium R dual core. Windows XP Pro. Service Pack 3

Is there a difference in the way Vegas 9 Pro and 10 pro adds audio envelopes as 9 works great.

I upgraded to 10 so I could burn Blue Ray DVD's but I do need to control the audio with envelopes.

Any help appreciate

Just used envelopes on 3 audio tracks in 10D 64 W7-64 on a HDV 5.1 surround project. No problem.

Are you adding a track or envelope?

What happens when you try to add envelope?

I have a audio track consisting of some speech I recorder there in Vegas. Now I am trying to add an audio envelope to the audio track so I can adjust the volume.

It goes through the motions but no envelope is added. Adding the volume evenlope works fine in Vegas Pro 9.

Have you turned on "view envelopes"?

"View envelopes" work. Strange I never had to do that in Ver9

Thanks,

I have had to turn it on in every version I can remember, but once it is on, it stays on unless you change it.
