but it's been a while since i had to use pan/zoom. i'm making a slide show of some of my favorite pictures and on some of the photos i want to not only zoom in but pan up or down. i can do the zoom ok but for some reason i can't move the 'F' overlay up or down just left or right. i have done other projects where i did both zoom and pan up or down but i can't seem to remember how i did it..

also on a similar note, how do you expand the working area of the pan/zoom window? that is, how do i make enough room so i can expand the F template to a much bigger size without running out of space?

On the left side is a button that controls whether you can move up/down, left/right, or both. You have clicked that button. Click it ot the proper settings.

For the second question, sounds like you want to change the zoom setting.

That's the zoom setting under WORKSPACE.

thanx all.. i figured out the up and down thing only after i posted.
the zoom setting does seem to do what i want although i don't remember doing it that way. i thought you had to double-click something or that there was a some Ctrl, Alt key combination to change the setting but no matter i suppose. it works.
