If the buttons aren't available it might not be seeing the camera. Make sure you have power to the camera and it's set to vtr.

it's only doing it when i'm trying to capture video from an analog source. i see the video for a second then it goes away. IT'S NEVER DONE THIS!

i can go into pinnacle studio (yuck!) and it has no problem. i even tried ulead's dvd workshop and it had no trouble with it.

anyone??

thanks.

Hi Craig,

If you are using a camera for analog pass-through, you might try UN-checking "enable DV device control" in the capture prefs.

It worked, now it doesn't. What changed on your system? What are you capturing with (what device)?

hey, it REALLY WAS the "enable dv device control" option. i turned it off and it worked. the analog thru the cam started working again.

what an odd feature.

THANK YOU MARTYH!! WOOOHOOO!
