Can't change over from Trail to Bought

Well, I don't know if it's because I just bought it about two hours ago and I'm trying to download it, but my Vegas Video isn't working.

I've downloaded the installer several times, but nothings working.

Help please?

And I'm running XP, if that helps any.

Any time I try to bring up Video, it just goes to the 'You're trial has expired' page.

You should be able (on the trial version) to click for buying the full version. Once you received the message that your trial version has expired, click on "buy", afterwards you should be able to insert the key code that was sent to your email address that you gave on buying the full version. This code will activate your full version. That's the way I got from the trial to the full version. Hope this was useful.

It doesn't give me a place to eneter the serial code. It doesn't even give me a place to enter anything before it goes into a page with other software choices.

(hits head against wall) Maybe I should uninstall and reinstall it again?

Sorryk maybe I have made myself not clear enough. What I meant was that you have to start the .exe file of the trial version (not the one of the full version that wouldn't work yet). When starting the trial version of course you get the message that it has expired. There must be a button to enable you to enter the serial number. I don't remember very well but I think that there was a button "buy" or something similar. After pressing that button you get the chance to enter your serial number. Should you somehow not get along, uninstalling and reinstalling the programm could be a possibility in case the installation was not completely successfull.
good luck
