Can't Delete Button without Deleting Video

On the main menu of my project, I want to have the following.

Main Video Button

Main Video Scenes Button

Extras Button

I want the extras button to go to a submenu-scenes menu because the Extras video has three makers in it for different sections.

The problem is, it appears I have to have a button that goes directly to the Extras file to get the video into the project. I can add the button that goes to the Extras scenes menu, but I can't get rid of the button that goes directly to the Extras. If I delete it, the video is deleted.

I have "hidden" the unwanted button as a workaround, but it's still there, and a viewer could happen on it accidentally.

Any suggestions. Maybe I just haven't learned enough about DVDA yet.

Drag your Extras video up and onto the Disc icon, at the top of the menu structure in your Project Overview. This will "hide" the video -- there will be no links to it on your menus -- but still make it available to link to from any location you choose.

Thanks!

I figured it would be simple ... just something I didn't know yet.

That's why I'm writing a book on the program. ;)

There are lots of great "hidden" tools and features in this wonderful app!

I have been editing video for years, but I've only had Vegas/DVDA for a week now. I have gotten past the initial learning curve and am starting to enjoy it.

I can do all the basic things I need to do and am starting to "branch out" into uncharted territory.
