Are these the drives that worked pre upgrade ?

If so, are they visible in Win Explorer/Device Manager, etc ?

If all the above, then try removing the drives from Device Manager, and rebbooting/reinstalling them. If still no luck, un/reinstall CDA5.

Also you could try the generic ATAPI MMC-Compatible drivers.

Yea these drives worked prior. They also work fine with any other program, such as Nero. I am absolutely perplexed. They indeed do show up in Device Manager and Win Explorer. I tried uninstall/reinstall of CDA5. Still no dice. Very strange...

Did yyou try the generic drivers as I suggested above ? Sounds like your CDA driver database has got corrupted, but why a reinstall doesn't fix that I dunno.
