can't find sample projects

According to the VV3.pdf manual I should have a sample projects folder on my CD ROM. All I see are demos for music beds, sound effects, and video clips. Also, at the SF site there is a 5 part tutorial for VV2 but the "preload the images" seems to be a dead link. Any thoughts on this and/or any other tutorials? I would contact support but I get much faster answers hear.

According to Michael at SF it entails 150+ MB and can't be downloaded on my wimpy dial up so he's burning a CD for me.
