Can't get Pinnacle work with VV3***PLS HELP

Hello to you all
I need to make the decision whether to keep the card or return it.
I've got the Pinnacle Studio Deluxe package (which comes with AV/DV board.
I think it's a great card in it's price tag but I have a problem to integrate it with VV3.
Right now I'm capturing via the analogue input since I'm using HI8 sources.
VV3 can't detect the card so I must capture with Studio 7 (the one that comes with the card ) It's not that bad. I can import the DV file to VV3 with no problem and
edit it. But I can't use the "Print to Tape" feature or output to external monitor
in order to make analogue copy. This thing drive me crazy. can any one have a suggestion ?
I'm using WINXP which detect the card fine and it appears in 4 instances under "Device Manager"
1.Texas Instrument OHCI compliant 1394 host controller (under IEEE1394 bus host controllers)
2. 1394 Net Adapter (under Network adapters)
3. Pinnacle Systems Studio AV/DV E4
4. Pinnacle Systems Studio AV/DV Overlay
both under Sound, video and game controller.

If there is no way to use this card in VV3 I will return it and get something else.
I want to hear your recommendations up to 400$ but it must have a DV capturing feature thru an analogue AV input and it need to work with VV3.
Thanks
Lior

If you want the good Vegas experience:

1) ditch the Pinnacle card and uninstall every Pinnacle app that came with it.

2) get a Pyro 1394 card and a Canopus ADVC-100 (both less than $400).
