Can't grab events when downsized

Mindmatter wrote on 7/11/2018, 12:03 PM

HI all,

unless I'm missing something here, I seem to not be able to grab an event from a certain reduced size downwards.

I can sometimes barely click to select it and seem to have to catch a certain area of the event, and if I succeed, most of the time the FX or crop window opens. It's impossible to rezize or grab to move it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

If zoomed way out, I find events can be too small to work with, so then I zoom in with mouse wheel (and shift-mouse wheel to move timeline horizontally) so I can better select, edit, etc.

Something else going on here? Maybe a screen shot would help to explain.

Thanks Kinvermark,

that's also what I usually do, but I often have some tracks downsized for overview and some important ones bigger, and if i want to handle one of the small events it just doesn't quite work and I have to zoom into them. To me it's a little quirky annoyance in the workflow.

It works (here) downsized if the Event Header is active.
