Some people just told me that it does not matter
what you capture with. What about clips rendered
from the timeline.

Haven't tried clips rendered from the timeline....I'll try that next.

Thanks!

i dont have any crashes - but you could also just frame serve from vegas to AE (which I do for use with Magic Bullet or some other AE plugins) and then send it back to Vegas also by frame serving (to a second Vegas)

No problem importing Vegas files in AE 5.5 or rendering and importing back into V.V. BUT when I open the file back in Vegas, the file appears like slightly out of focus ( I posted a message a few days ago and no solution). If I manipulate the same way in Vegas, it is as " crisp / sharp" as the source file.... WHY?????

BJ_M What are you using to frameserve from AE to Vegas?

Still no luck-- tried exporting dv clip from Vegas-- still wouldn't import into AE...also tried rendering out of Vegas with "Use Microsoft DV codec" checked...no luck there either. The only clips I can import are ones I capture with scenalyzer....
