Can't install Vegas P8 demo

I have Windows XP Pro service pack 2 and when installing it said it required .NET 3.0 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 redistributable - it started installing them and then it said "requirments not met" ?? and the install stoped

My system is dual athlon MP2000+ and 1 GIG of ram

Never mind - i forgot to reboot after installing SP2 - it installed - now im going too check it out - later gang
