Can't install VP9

Randy Brown wrote on 9/8/2010, 11:16 AM
I downloaded the the 64 bit trial version (for Win 7 64bit) and it gets to the MS visuall C++ install...click to install the required components and select "install" (even though I think I already have them) and I get "requirement not met, press ok to exit installation".
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Randy

yessir

Do you mean the C++ mentioned in the installation process? If so it looks like I already have it if I check in "uninstall program". If that's not what you mean please elaborate.

In case anyone is interested I uninstalled all C+ and then the install asked for 3 different ones instead of just 2005 redistributable...so this must be the issue.
I've done a lot of Googling and it appears I have every version that it might want but it still complains about "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable "
Here's what I've installed: http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo206/GRB53/c.jpg
What does it want and why the hell won't it just install it if I don't have it?
I would contact support but they don't help with trials and I do want to try this before I buy it.
Thanks,
Randy

I got an email from Willem and he sent me a .jpg of what he had installed. There was a version I didn't have that he had that led me to the following solution...thanks Willem!!
