Can't load plugin chain

Sometime ago I created a few chains for future use. I went to add one of them to a clip today and an error came up stating "No plugins from the package succeeded in loading". I took a look and everyone I created is missing. I opened the Preset Manager and it can't find them. I know they worked at one time because. Any idea what could have happened to them?

Was it in a previous version of Vegas? Are the plugins still individually available in your list of plugins? Were they from a previous version of UltimateS? What plugins where they?

I don't really have an answer for you on this, but I do seem to recall there was some issues a while back with Vasst products after the move to Vegas 7, but they fixed it within days.

I created some chains ( I can't remember if it was in 6 or 7) with some standard Sony effects (grain, saturation, etc.) and saved them under their own unique name. When I click on the EventFX button to load the chain, they are listed under the Filter Packages but they are empty with no effects in them. I tried the CTRL+SHFT when starting Vegas to clear out the cache and reload everything but the chains are still empty. The problem exists in ver6 to so I guess I'm outtaluck.

Hope you find a solution, but I can't help. And I hope I don't run into that since I want to do this myself but never have done so so far :) So my question is...

Is Chaining Vegas-native Vid FX Possible?

The V6 manual doesn't mention that one can make chains for video effects, only audio; Can one do so, and if yes, how? I use a certain ones over and over and it would be nice to load them all with one click.

I did a search here and on the Net, didn't see a how-to tutorial.
Maybe it's not possible, but figured I'd ask.

After you add the effects you want to the clip, click the EventFX button again, then click the Plug-In Chain button as if you are adding another effect from the list. Click on the Save As button on the right and a dialog box "Save Plug-In Package" will open. Then save it as whatever you want. One thing I did notice is that it will only save the first the the first keyframe and not any additional ones you may have added. You'll have to recreate any key framing you may have done every time.

Thanks for the tip, that's going to help :) Key-frames memory would be nice, but pics and vids can vary so much in luminance, hues, contrast, etc. that one has to fine-tune each one anyway. Or at least in the work I do since the sources are so different.
