Can't make cd play in stereo after using soundforge..?

I save project in Vegas as mp3 file and then record in both sound forge and roxio which says it finalizes the cd to be playable in any cd player. It records song to cd and is playable on computer, in my cd walkman but not on any of stereos in house which play burnt cds
Any advice?

What speed are you using to burn the CDs? I've found that some CD
players won't play CDs that are burned at faster than 4X. Try burning
again at 4X and see if that will play in your other players.
