Can't open MJPEG compressor video

I have a digital camera that can take video but I can only open the PCM audio but not the video it says it is MJPEG compressor format I can open them with windows media player. Is there a way I can add this format to my computer so I can open this with out having to open it in windows movie maker and then save it as AVI.
Please help this would make my Vegas Perfect.

You can download MJPEG codecs from Main Concept, Morgan Multimedia, Matrox and others- some of the freeware ones are a little sketchy so be careful there. Main Concept = good, inexpensive.
