Can't open .mov file from Vegas Pro 16

Hello all,

I am using Vegas Pro 16 and I can't see any option to enable .mov file. There is no depredicated features to enable.

Tried to install Quick Time, but not result. I am able to import .mov file in the media tool, but Vegas does not play.

I will appreciate your help. Thanks.

HDV codec under Quicktime MOV wrap, need QT Pro for this.

Alternatively must be transcoded outside VP.

@ABDOUL-ABDOULLA If you choose the transcoding route, theres a util in my signature, VFR2CFR, requires ffmpeg utils downloaded also.

It is a pity having to deal with cumbersome tasks while.mov files are common formats. Would be end users friendly to onboard these features natively in Vegas Pro.

.mov is common. HDV 1080i is not so common, though.

But sure, it would be convenient for more formats to work natively
